About Butler Shopping Plaza
The Butler Plaza Power Center is located in the heart of the explosive
southwest area of Gainesville. The Miracle Mile spans Archer Road,
bordered by I-75 to the west and 34th Street to the east. Butler
Plaza is not only
the largest retail center in North Central Florida but is also the
largest in the Southeast.
This incredible high traffic, densely populated activity center is one
mile from the University of Florida and within a two-mile radius
of eight of the major employers in Alachua County. In addition, Gainesville
serves
as the employment base and commercial center for North Central Florida's
twelve county region with a population base of more than 850,000 within
a 40-mile radius.
Butler Plaza is also known as "The Miracle Mile" since it stretches
for approximately one mile from I-75 to SW 34th Street in Gainesville,
Florida. With over 1.2 million s.f., this Miracle Mile is the largest Power
Center in Florida and one of the largest Power Centers in the Southeastern
United States. With over 100 tenants, there is something for everyone.
With two supermarkets, clothing stores, shoe stores, a movie theater, various
specialty stores, pet care stores, discount department stores, and many
others, Butler Plaza offers convenience and proximity to its great deals
to the Gainesville area. Some of our largest retail tenants include Target,
Wal-Mart, Lowes, OfficeMax, Best Buy and CVS Drug Stores.
Butler Plaza is also known as "Restaurant Row" because there
are over ten restaurants in our one mile span, such as: T.G.I. Fridays,
Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, The Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Ale House, Hop's,
Checkers, Chili's and Taco Bell. The Miracle Mile has been recognized by
City and County organizations for our effort on outstanding landscape design
making Butler Plaza one of the most attractively landscaped shopping centers
in Florida.
